The K\u014dne village was flooded, so the people had to move to a new location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>About 100 years later \u2013 Mountain Collapse<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The villagers had to relocate again. They rebuilt their village 6 km downstream and named it&nbsp;<strong>\u201cMikoro\u201d<\/strong>, meaning \u201cthe third place.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1964 \u2013 Large Landslide<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rainwater collected in an old mining area caused the slope behind the village to collapse. Life jackets are also available in children\u2019s sizes, making it safe for families. The boatman told us the history of this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cMikoro Village was here, and people lived here for over 300 years. People once lived here, spending their daily lives alongside horses and cows. The interior of the house has been well preserved, and you can feel the warmth of the wood and the charm that comes with its long history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hinotori-trip.com\/media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC08840-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\u6620\u753b\u300c\u5cb8\u90e8\u9732\u4f34\u30eb\u30fc\u30f4\u30eb\u3078\u884c\u304f\u300d\uff1a\u30ed\u30b1\u5730\u30fb\u9727\u5e7b\u5eb5\u3092\u89b3\u5149\u5ba2\u304c\u5199\u771f\u306b\u53ce\u3081\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\" class=\"wp-image-20755\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, this location,&nbsp;<strong>Mugenkyo-an<\/strong>, was used as a filming site for the live-action movie&nbsp;<strong>\u201cRohan Kishibe Goes to the Louvre\u201d<\/strong>, based on the manga series&nbsp;<strong>\u201cThus Spoke Rohan Kishibe\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;by the internationally popular creator&nbsp;<strong>Hirohiko Araki<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<em>JoJo\u2019s Bizarre Adventure<\/em>.The film, starring actor&nbsp;Issei Takahashi, was released in 2023.&nbsp;Its unique world and stunning cinematography received widespread acclaim and made the movie a hot topic among fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-liquid-speech-balloon liquid-speech-balloon-wrap liquid-speech-balloon-01\"><div class=\"liquid-speech-balloon-avatar\"><\/div><div class=\"liquid-speech-balloon-text\"><p>The production team was searching for a place where&nbsp;<strong>only untouched nature remains<\/strong>, and they say this is the location they finally found!<\/p><div class=\"liquid-speech-balloon-arrow\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hinotori-trip.com\/media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/DSC08857-3-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\u521d\u3081\u3066\u898b\u308b\u65e5\u672c\u306e\u672c\u5f53\u306e\u59ff\u306b\u611f\u52d5\u3059\u308b\u30dd\u30fc\u30e9\u30f3\u30c9\u306e\u89b3\u5149\u5ba2\u306e\u69d8\u5b50\u3002\" class=\"wp-image-20756\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A friend of mine said with a big smile:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThis is the Japan I\u2019ve always wanted to see!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seeing my friend\u2019s joyful expression made me smile too. Surely, this scenery is not something extraordinary\u2014it\u2019s just&nbsp;<strong>real, everyday Japan<\/strong>.
