It is far enough from the city center to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside, and best of all, both admission and parking are free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you arrive, you should definitely try a hands-on workshop. The studios are organized into themes like <em>Bamboo &amp; Dyeing<\/em>, <em>Wood &amp; Lacquer<\/em>, and <em>Fire &amp; Clay<\/em>, with plenty of activities for both children and adults. The <em>Tea Dyeing<\/em> experience features Shizuoka tea leaves that fall outside standard market grades. The model-making workshop supervised by <em>Tamiya<\/em>, the world-famous local model manufacturer, is a unique memory you can only make here. You can take your one-of-a-kind creation home on the very same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After your workshop, head to the select shop <em>Gallery Teto Teto <\/em>to browse souvenirs made by local creators. These traditional crafts have been reimagined to fit a modern lifestyle, making them perfect as gifts or a treat for yourself.The food options are also excellent. At the cafe <em>HACHI &amp; MITSU<\/em>, you can enjoy original drinks and lunch made with local Mariko honey, and the terrace seats are dog-friendly. You will also find <em>Tokiya<\/em>, which carries on the flavors of a famous kintsuba (sweet bean) shop, a coffee roastery, and the <em>SHIZUOKA BREWING<\/em> facility mentioned in the previous article.
