Why Ryokanbook

Experts Who Know Japan’s Hidden Regions and Ryokan Inside Out

We visit each location in person, carefully researching and documenting every stay.
With a professional eye, we select only ryokans we truly believe will offer a deeply satisfying experience.
Through our trusted local network that goes beyond well-known destinations, we can introduce special inns you won’t find on regular booking sites.

Discover the True Japan in "Remote" Ryokan

What we offer is not ryokan in the middle of tourist areas, but inns and regions found deep in Japan.
We carefully choose each destination, creating a complete journey that goes beyond just staying at a ryokan—including experiences unique to the land itself.
Each trip is curated as one "Extreme" journey.

Journey Designed Only For You

We will carefully listen to your travel pace and preferences, and design your itinerary around the season, food, crafts, and nature. Since, we personally visit each region and build trusted relationships with the local people, we can take you beyond surface-level sightseeing—to places and moments you wouldn’t find on your own. From who you meet to how you spend your time, we tailor the journey entirely to you.

Seamless Travel, from Reservations to Transportation

Japan’s remote regions are breathtaking—but arranging transportation and experiences can be challenging.
From itinerary planning to reservation management, we handle everything in one place. When needed, we arrange transfers, private hire cars, taxis, and even helicopter access—ensuring both comfort and deep immersion.

CEO

Aizu is where my journey began.

When I was 18, I traveled through Aizu by bicycle with a group of friends. We had very little money, and after riding through the freezing winter, we finally arrived at a ryokan where we were met with kindness beyond anything we had imagined.
The sincerity and warmth I experienced in Aizu at that time became one of the foundations of who I am today.
Samurai culture, hot springs, and the beauty of the four seasons are all part of Aizu’s charm. But what I most want to share is the genuine warmth of the people who live here.
I recommend Aizu to those who want more than sightseeing — to those who wish to experience the deeper spirit of Japan.
