Magokoro no Yado Hoshinoi, located in Yunokami Onsen, Shimogō Town, Minamiaizu District, Fukushima, is a small hot spring inn with just eight rooms, known as the closest accommodation to the famous sightseeing spot Ōuchi-juku
The inn is renowned for its heartfelt hospitality, natural hot springs with free-flowing water from Yunokami Onsen available 24 hours a day, and homemade dishes featuring local ingredients, including the signature simmered potatoes. Guests can also enjoy the Ōuchi-juku Night Tour guided by the inn’s owner. About Hoshinoi
Ouchi-juku, located about a 10-minute drive from Magokoro no Yado Hoshinoi, is a famous tourist spot known for its thatched-roof village. It flourished as a post town connecting Aizuwakamatsu and Nikko Imaichi during the Edo period, and even today, the thatched-roof houses still preserve the atmosphere of that era. Guests staying at Hoshinoi can join the exclusive Ouchi-juku Night Tour, where many visitors fall in love with its magical scenery!
From Tokyo, it’s about a three-hour journey by train or car. The inn is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from Yunokami Onsen Station on the Aizu Railway.
