“Onsen Minshuku Nishikiya” is a small hot spring inn with only six guest rooms, located in Yunokami Onsen in Shimogō Town, Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture. The inn occupies a traditional Japanese house built in the late Meiji period, which was transformed into an inn in 1975 (the 50th year of the Shōwa era). Guests can enjoy their stay surrounded by the warmth of century-old beams and pillars that preserve the charm of the past.
Nestled among deep mountains and scenic valleys, the area offers a lush natural setting where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and spend a peaceful, healing time. The inn is conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from Aizu Railway’s Yunokami Onsen Station.
